Earlier this week I found out that the Mr. and I are featured as a “Real Couple” in the Winter 2011 edition of The Nest digital magazine! When the ever so kind people at The Nest were looking for submissions from couples a little while back we decided to go ahead and send in our information and see what happens. Throughout this year I have been learning not to be afraid to ask questions, apply, or in this case submit. I think what always kept me from doing so in the past was my fear of rejection but really the worst thing anyone can say is no and then it’s time to move on. The process included a questionnaire which Chris and I sat down together to complete. It was actually a lot of fun! He and I were happy and thankful to find out that we were selected to be a part of such a special issue and our little Stella even makes an appearance too! (Yes, thankful! There are so many amazing couples out there! And while I know it’s not a TV show or a prestigious award we are still excited about it. At least I am. Not sure if that’s an appropriate word to use for the Mr. :)
