It’s finally Fall lovelies! And while summer was pretty good to us this year (with the exception of a mean sunburn on my back that I’m convinced just might stick around until next summer) I am looking forward to a new season and embarking upon some new adventures. I’m ready for hot cocoa, pumpkin bread, soup for dinner and cuddling under blankets with the Little Miss while we watch Sunday night movies. The Mr. is looking forward to a decrease in the power and electricity bill and The Little Miss is excitedly awaiting the arrival of her 7th birthday!
I am so ready for this first weekend of Fall so my countdown to the end of my workday has already begun despite me not being at work just yet :). Tonight we are going food truckin! What better way to celebrate the new season than over some yummy food with family and friends? This weekend we will be celebrating a very special birthday and making some memories…
I hope all of you enjoy the first day of this new season. It’s still pretty warm here in Southern California so I’m not putting my sundresses away just yet or my sandals but I know that very soon I’ll be bringing out my flats and embracing the coziness of my sweaters.

{Summer at the zoo. And just in case you’re wondering I’m not pregnant just doing a little too much snacking. Ha! As I write about going to the food trucks tonight.}
Today we are saying goodbye to our sun hats and hello sweaters! Happy Fall!
p.s. What are you most looking forward to about the Fall season?

Krishann, I’m looking forward to the new season as well. Fall is when we get our best weather up here in the bay area. I miss the warm S.Cali sun!
How were the food trucks? I visited one called Japacurry this week for lunch downtown. Pretty good stuff!
I’m sure it’s lovely this time of year! It’s been awhile since I’ve been to the bay area but each time I’ve gone I have loved it and enjoyed the fresh air (I’ve noticed a difference compared to LA. My mom has said the same thing)! The so. cal sunshine is nice though :) The food trucks were delicious! Always a lot of fun and a lot of great food! Glad you are getting to enjoy them where you live too :)
