Sunday morning, following the big reveal, the little miss jumped out of bed and ran into the living room -
“When I walk here I always look at the living room to make sure it’s still there.”
Here’s what Jalayla had to say about her experience filming for the show:
“Having the camara here was like I was on the news because a bunch of cameras are on the news. And this is Jalayla!”
“My favorite thing about the living room was the TV, chairs, the records, and the TV and the birdcage.”
She also wanted to tell everyone what she thought about Emily:
“She said your name right (she’s referring to the the show. Jalayla found it hilarious that the voice over pronounced my name wrong). She weared good clothes and she was nice. And this is Jalayla!”
She would also like you to know that she would like to be on a cartoon one day.
“It was really cool.” (on being on HGTV)
“I learned that it takes a lot of work to do.” (on styling a room)
Finally Jalayla said that she would like to tell Emily:
“Thank you for decorating our house!”
