This morning I read about a challenge on Emily’s blog, it sounded like the kick in the rear gentle push in the right direction I needed to get going on some of the little projects we have around our house. Although the idea of a challenge sounded exciting I wasn’t sure if I had the guts to take on a project with a deadline. In college I was the queen of prostration and my reign has yet to come to an end. As I drove home from work today I asked myself what have I got to lose? Really. Worse case scenario our house will look exactly like it does now and we will continue to direct guests to the living room as it’s the only room in our house that doesnt have an echo echo echo….
Alright so here it is friends. Emily and Lana (two of the sweetest bloggers that you ever did tweet) along with their friends and Sherry and Katie have issued a Pinterest challenge.

So basically I have until Tuesday to complete a project in my house inspired by an image I’ve pinned on Pinterest. I have a few ideas dancing around in my head and will be sure to let you know just what I decide (and what I can recruit some help from the Mr. with completing if necessary). So any of you with me? I am sure there is at least one project in your home that is just waiting to be completed. Do share and be sure to visit the creators of this awesome challenge and let them know that your in. Oh and don’t forget to watch the video! It’s hilarious.
I think I’m looking forward to having one less thing on my to do list come Tuesday ( aka opening up a spot for something new to add to it).

Ok, sounds interesting. I know I said I’d look at this tomorrow but I lied, lol. Afterall I have a bookshelf that needs to go and another that needs to be organized :-)

Look on the Pinterest website for ideas! Do a search for a topic. There are tons of amazing photos to inspire you. Maybe pick a room in your house and go from there…It can be something simple. Anything you’ve started but have yet to finish (I’m great at doing that)? I’m excited to see what you come up with!
