{His and Hers} A quick lunch date at…

{Good Pho You}

Yesterday the Mr. and I went on a lunch date.  I love our lunch dates mostly because they remind me of when we were dating back when I was in college.  Because our time together was often limited nothing made me happier than 60 minutes with my babe followed by a full belly (with the exception of quality time with my other babe).  Due to my indecisiveness I asked the Mr. to pick where we’d eat this time and so he picked Pho

{Little Tai Pho noodles}

{Fried Spring Rolls}

When we got there we were able to sit immediately and once we ordered our food came our rather quickly.  It was hot and tasted fresh.  The staff there was very attentive and also quite funny.  They asked me if I needed a fork as they were able to tell that chopsticks weren’t my forte.  They also explained to me how to eat my spring rolls – wrap them in the lettuce and dip them in the sauce (it must have been obvious that I had not been there before) .  The spring rolls were delicious and the pho was also very tasty, like cup of noodles only much much better and fresh!

{His straw}

{Her straw}

And for dessert:

{Pineapple and Green Apple Hawaiian shaved ice}

 The shaved ice was topped with some sort of cream.  I am not sure what the cream was called but what I am certain of is that, paired with the shaved ice,  it was heavenly.  It wa also the perfect way to end a meal on a hot summer day.

Next time we go we will have to take the Little Miss.  She is a noodle fanatic and  much like her mother, she always saves room for dessert!

Check out Good Pho You’s menu here.  And also be sure to – eat something yummy today!

 Good Pho You is located at 10648 Balboa Blvd., Granada Hills CA 91344
