{Theirs} Brunch at…

{CiCi’s Cafe}

This past Sunday the 3 of us enjoyed a lovely afternoon brunch at CiCi’s Cafe.  It was just what we needed after being rear ended just minutes before we got there! Everyone is ok by the way. We were even better once our bellies were filled with delicious eats.

The food - Delightful!!!  Ok so I know I tend to put extras on things but if you love pancakes or french toast this place is a must try. They also have a lunch menu and while there I spied a couple of sandwiches that looked delish!

The wait – The wait was just one hour.  An hour?! Yes an hour.  Word on the street (yelp.com) is that they tend to be pretty busy on the weekends.  Normally an hour wait is enough to make me take out my iphone and start looking up nearby restaurants but when I went to put our name of the waiting list several people’s  plates caught my eye so I already knew what we were in store for before we ate and therefore, gladly took a seat at an outside bench (to-go menu in tow) and spent the next hour trying to decide what I would be ordering.  Besides good things do come to those who wait!

What we ate – The Three Amigos {for the Mr.}, The Little Jet {for the Little Miss} complete with French Toast, an egg and sausage and for me {the  Mrs.} Forget Me Not French Toast.

I  have already decided what I am going to have next time (Yes there will be a next time.  Soon I hope!) – Strawberry Velvet pancakes red velvet pancakes topped with strawberry coulis, fresh strawberries & whipped cream.  I.Can’t.Wait.

{Forget Me Not French Toast strawberries, macadamia nuts, chocolate chips & whipped cream.

Dear French Toast, I promise I won’t forget you. Not ever.}

What are some of your favorite brunch places? Favorite dishes? And how do you ever decide on just one thing when there are so many great choices on the menu?!

Have a Happy Friday, and be sure to eat something yummy this weekend!
